Rooted in Scripture and centered on the mission of Christ's Church, our courses combine sound biblical doctrine with practical application. Each training opportunity is designed to deepen understanding of God's Word, develop faithful leaders, equip the saints for ministry, and strengthen churches to fulfill their calling.
Our courses are organized into sessions, with each session representing a one-hour academic training block. Sessions may be scheduled according to the needs of your church or organization, whether as a single-day training event, a multi-day conference, or an extended course format. Christ Compass Academy works with each ministry partner to tailor training schedules that best support their goals and needs.
All courses are provided free of charge to Christian churches and qualifying non-profit organizations as part of our commitment to serve the Body of Christ by equipping believers, developing leaders, and strengthening local churches.

Faithful Leaders - Healthy Churches: Developing Biblical Character for Church Leadership
Every church desires to be healthy. We want churches that are growing in faith, united in love, grounded in truth, and effective in making disciples. Healthy churches do not happen by accident. God uses faithful leaders to build healthy churches. Before we focus on programs, buildings, finances, or strategies, we must focus on becoming the kind of leaders God calls us to be.
Healthy churches are built by faithful leaders. Throughout scripture, God places great emphasis on the character, convictions, and conduct of those who lead His people. This training will examine the qualifications and responsibilities of church leaders as found in 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus. Participants will be challenged to grow in Godly character, biblical leadership, sound doctrine, and disciple-making so they can strengthen the church God has entrusted to their care.

Beyond the Pulpit: Building Healthy Churches Through Shared Leadership
Many pastors carry the weight of responsibilities that extend far beyond preaching and shepherding. Administrative demands, ministry coordination, and daily operations can consume valuable time that God has called pastors to devote to prayer, teaching, discipleship, and equipping the saints for ministry.
Beyond the Pulpit equips pastors, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, and key volunteers to develop a biblical model of shared leadership within the local church. Rooted in the principles found in Acts 6, Ephesians 4, 1 Timothy, and Titus, this training helps churches identify, develop, and empower leaders who can faithfully serve according to their gifts and calling.
Participants will learn practical strategies for effective delegation, developing volunteers, establishing healthy ministry processes, and measuring what truly matters in church health. The goal is not to create more programs or additional responsibilities, but to build a stronger church where every believer is equipped and every leader is empowered to serve.

Equipping Ministry Leaders: Developing Biblical Leaders for Effective Ministry
Designed to equip church leaders, both paid and lay, as well as volunteers, by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to lead effectively and biblically. This course aims to foster a deeper understanding of leadership principles, enhance the ability to measure success, prioritize life in ministry, and work more effectively with volunteers.
The primary objectives of The Equipping Ministry Leaders Course are to:
- Lead and serve biblically: Equip participants with the skills to lead and serve according to biblical principles, ensuring that their leadership is rooted in faith and guided by scripture.
- Measure success: Provide clear and practical methods for evaluating the effectiveness of ministry efforts, allowing leaders to assess progress and make informed decisions.

Ordained in the Workplace: Living Out Your Calling Beyond the Church Walls
Many Christians do not know how to live out and share their faith in the workplace. Professionals often ask - How do I share the Gospel at work? Can I share at work and when is it appropriate? This course provides Biblical insights that will open the doors to Gospel conversations and how to be more intentional and discover how to share the Gospel in word and deed. God can work through us wherever we are!
In today's fast-paced and often secular work environments, expressing one's faith can seem daunting. However, for many Christians, their faith is an integral part of their identity that they wish to share. The course "Ordained in the Workplace" addresses these challenges and offers practical guidance to help believers live out their faith with confidence and poise.

Intercultural Evangelism: Sharing Christ Across Cultures and Communities
This course is designed to prepare those planning or considering serving a mission, whether short or long term. This study is especially important for those serving in a county with significate differences from your own culture. Students will explore the four major worldviews in order to understand the most effective starting point of introducing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The book "Effective Intercultural Evangelism" by W. Jay Moon and W. Bud Simon is the framework for the course.

Worship Ministry
Worship in Spirit and Truth: Building Biblically Faithful Worship Ministries
This course is designed to equip worship pastors, worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, and worship teams to lead Christ centered, biblically faithful worship that glorifies God, edifies the Church, and proclaims sound doctrine through music. Participants will learn how worship shapes discipleship, why theology matters in song selection, and how to cultivate a worship ministry that serves the mission of the local church.
The primary objectives of Worship in Spirit and Truth are:
- Develop a biblical theology of worship.
- Understand the worship leader's role as both a shepherd and teacher.
- Evaluate song lyrics for biblical and theological accuracy.
- Plan worship services that support biblical preaching and congregational worship.
- Lead worship with humility, excellence, and spiritual integrity.
